Profile
Vincenz Kink was an unmarried storekeeper who moved with his sister Maria to live with their brother Anton in Zürich, Switzerland after their parents died. The family agreed to emigrate to America and boarded the Titanic at Southampton as third class passengers.
He was in cabin E58 towards the bow on F-Deck along with his brother and Albert Wirz, Josef Arnold, Leo Zimmermann and an unkown man from Bohemia (almost certainly Wenzel Linhart).
On the night of the disaster he was awoken by the collision and ran up the four decks to the well deck, followed by his brother. They saw the iceberg and immediately returend to their cabin to dress and collect life preservers when water began to flood their cabin. They went to collect their sister Maria, Anton's wife Luise and daughter also called Luise. As they made their way to the Boat Deck Vincenz and Maria were lost in the crowd.
Vincenz was never seen again and perished in the sinking. His bidy, if recovered, was never identified.
