On a clear April night in 1912, the RMS Titanic became the centre of one of the most dramatic human dramas in history as it sank in the frigid Atlantic after striking an iceberg. Hubris ensured that there were not enough lifeboats for all souls on board, resulting in a horrendous loss of life.
