Born toward the end of 1886, exact date is unkown, the son of Edwin Snook and Sarah Ann Bolt, Bristol natives married in 1875. William had seven known siblings and was registered as a tramway  labourer in 1901. His father died in 1903 and his mother in 1910. When he signed for the Titanic he had previosly worked aboard the Royal Edward. 

He perished in the disaster and his body, if found, was never identified. His last surviving sibling, his sister Daisy, died in 1974.
