Profile
Elisabeth had been widowed twice in the decade before travelling on the Titanic and it is believed the tour of Europe with her daughter Georgette Alexander was to assist in the recovery from the loss. The pair also travelled with Elisabeth's maid Emilie Kreuchen and her neice Elisabeth Walton Allen, the daughter of her sister Lydia.
The quartet were rescued on lifeboat 2.
Elisabeth never remarried but travelled frequently with her daughter well into the 1950s. She passed away in 1956 following a heart attack. It has been commented that Mrs. Robert was considered an especially kind woman in her treatment of her house servants. She actually buried three of her African-American servants at her family plot in Bellefontaine.
