The Ruda Pale Ale from Valladolid is a gentle brew that could easily be a tipple of choice for an evening of enjoyable drinking. A bold colour for a Pale Ale and an enjoyable but light nose. The preliminary reaction on the front of the mouth is that it is light on taste as well but the body reveals itself to be pleasant and smooth with hints of bitterness in the after taste.
A drinkable and gentle offering, we would reccomend it is served at room temperature and not chilled as is common in Spain, this can deaden the flavour of Ales and this is a soft and delicate palate that needs to be savoured.

*Although the ABV is listed as 4.5% on the Lote we tested, we have seen an ABV of 5.3% listed elsewhere. We are not sure if this is down to a change in recipe, an error by a reviewer and will update if we find out more information.

A decent early session beer, not over imposing, could sink several as a palete warmer.
